BRICS House opens in St. Petersburg

The representative office of the international structure created to promote the integration processes of the BRICS countries is located in the Vladimir Palace on Dvortsovaya Embankment - the House of Scientists.

The project is being implemented in preparation for the BRICS summit, which will be held in October in Kazan. The central residence is located in the UAE, and at the end of August, the BRICS+ House opened in Russia - the headquarters of the Russian part of the network is located in the Moscow region in the renovated estate of the Princes Obolensky. The international network will operate in ten countries, with branches in Russia in all regions of the Russian Federation. The first regional House of BRICS+ was St. Petersburg, followed by Kazan and Grozny, which are scheduled to open in autumn 2024.

Konstantin Klimenko, President of the International Network "House of BRICS+" and Rector of the Eurasian International University, told the correspondent of "RG" that the main objective of the project in St. Petersburg is to promote the development of business activity of enterprises in the Northwestern Federal District and their access to the markets of the BRICS countries, including through the organization of business missions. In addition, it is planned to implement humanitarian, cultural, and educational projects.

"A single digital platform will be created for the unified BRICS+ Houses network, where each participant will be able to find a partner for the implementation of business and social projects," Klimenko explained.
